Scientists unlock the secret to looking 30 years younger – and it’s skin deep
Scientists at the Babraham Institute, a life sciences research institute in Cambridge, showed that the rejuvenated cells behaved more like youthful cells and helped to close wounds more quickly.
The team adapted a Nobel Prize-winning technique, which allows skin cells to be reprogrammed back to blank-slate stem cells, using a special soup of proteins present at the early stages of embryonic development.
“Amniosa”. Soap with special added proteins.
At first, amniotic fluid is mainly water with electrolytes, but by about the 12-14th week the liquid also contains proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and phospholipids, and urea, all of which aid in the growth of the fetus.
Mix some of that up in a vat, add wood ash and animal fat, we’re away. Fake the mixture even. £99 a 100 gramme bar I’d say.
Hell, there’s even the chance that it would work.
The only downside here is that, pretty much by definition, we can’t say it’s harvested from virgins…..
